Sara Evans had only one purpose in life: sing and write country songs. Evans stated to John Meroney, of American Enterprise: "God placed me on this earth for me to perform." "It is what I am passionate about doing more than any other thing and I'm determined to be successful." Evans is also hoping to be popular by going back to traditional country music, which was popularized by legends like Patsy Cline and Hank Snow. She was also influenced to some extent by George Jones, Tammy Wynette as well as Patty Loveless. Evans had her first breakthrough in the late 1990s as many hopeful country singers shifted towards popular music. Her 1997 debut, True Lies, was an example. True Lies, though it had received praise and was nominated by the Academy of Country Music for the best female new artist of 1998 however, was not able to create any impression. Evans was enticed to change her repertoire of songs for No Place That Far in 1999 by her producers. The result was the fame she'd been longing for. Sara Evans, born on the 5th of February, 1971 in Columbia Missouri, is a singer and songwriter from America. The first years she spent there, along with her six sisters and siblings.
